Three groups of students will represent El Paso’s Student Affiliate at the Texas Music Teachers’ Convention which will be held June 13 – 16, 2024 in Waco,TX.
Teachers, please try to send complete teams (primo and secondo) if possible. Students wishing to participate in one of
these ensembles must take and pass the Theory Test. The Ensemble fee is $25 and is non- refundable. It should be sent to the Ensembles Chairperson. (See below.) A costume fee may also be included if EPMTA does not have funds to cover the students’ costumes.
Important: Teachers need to enter all the student information (address, etc.) on the teacher Student Affiliate page on the TMTA website as well as entering that information on the Ensemble Entry form (p. 68 ) which should be sent to Judi Wilkinson with the entry fee.

2025 MUSIC SELECTIONS
Participants will be required to attend Monday evening rehearsals at UTEP beginning Monday, April 21, until the convention. Students should have their pieces memorized and be able to perform with their partners. Participants are responsible for all costs of attending the Convention. |
