Get ready to pack your bags!  The Texas Music Teachers’ Convention 2019 will be held the at the Houston Hyatt Regency, June 20-23, 2019, and YOU could be there!

Imagine being part of a ten (yes, 10!) piano ensemble, on stage, performing in costume, in front of hundreds of people!  Now imagine 2,500 to 3,000 fellow young musicians and their families arriving from all over Texas to share in the same experience!  If you’re getting excited now, just wait until you get there!

Four groups of students will represent El Paso’s Student Affiliate in the TMTA Convention, which will be held at the at the Houston Hyatt Regency, June 20-23, 2019.

Teachers, please try to send complete teams (primo and secondo), if possible.

Students wishing to participate in one of these ensembles must take and pass the Theory Test.

The audition fee is $25 and non-refundable.  A costume fee may also be included if EPMTA does not have the funds to cover the students’ costumes.
