Membership: $15 to be charged for one year’s membership. This fee to include state membership at $8.50 annually and $6.50 to defray local expenses.
(Fee must be paid on or before September 9, 2019. Otherwise, $16 or $23 will be charged because of state late enrollment fees.)
List of Available Activities: All local fees must be paid in advance except for Spring theory make-up tests which are paid on site.
Theory Tests: $15 to be charged per test (Fall and/or Spring) MAKE-UP tests for SPRING test only. $10 is to be paid directly to the teacher giving a make-up test at the time the test is taken.
World of Music: $15 to be charged per test.
Original Composition Contest: $15 All compositions must be judged locally before being submitted to the state contests.
Publication Contest: $15
TMTA Performance Contests: Solo and Concerto, grades 7-12
LOCAL entry fee will be $50 to defray all local expenses. This is a nonrefundable fee to pay expenses of judges and related expenses. Local winners who advance to any higher level of competition will have their entry fee paid by EPMTA/SA pending available funds.
Ensemble Auditions for participation in ensembles to play at State Convention: $25 to be paid in advance for ensemble audition. This fee is non-refundable. Students performing at State Convention will have their state registration fee paid by EPMTA/ SA. There may be a costume fee if EPMTA is unable to provide funds for costumes.
PLEASE NOTE: EPMTA Constitution By-Laws, Article V, Section IV: EPMTA will support Student Affiliate Convention participation, the amount to be determined by the Budget Committee.
All of the above guidelines will be subject to revision annually in accordance with funds available and revisions mandated by state regulations. These funds are generated from the EPMTA budget committee, SA membership dues, and any monies received in excess of actual state fees.
Any revisions should be made no later than OCT. 1 of each school year.
